Creating an account

You will need an account to use Drum. This is created automatically when you login. You can currently login using your GitHub or Linear account.

GitHub

To login with GitHub, click the Continue with GitHub button. You will be redirected to GitHub to authorize Drum to access your account. Once authorized, you will be redirected back to Drum.

We also recommend that you install the Drum app on your GitHub account. This makes it possible to link repos to help investigations and also to import issues into Drum using labels. Go to Integrations and click Connect on the GitHub app to get started.

Linear

To login with Linear, click the Continue with Linear button. You will be redirected to Linear to authorize Drum to access your account. Once authorized, you will be redirected back to Drum. This flow also installs the Drum app on your Linear workspace. You will be able to add labels to your issues and they will automatically be imported into Drum.

Profile

We will use your name and avatar from your login provider on your profile if they exist but you have the option to not show the avatar. Once logged in access the Profile area and choose not to use the avatar image. If you choose to not show your avatar, the app will fallback to a colored avatar with a single initial.
