Integrations/GitHub

GitHub

The GitHub integration allows you to import issues into Drum from GitHub saving you the need to add the issue details manually.

You will need to install the Drum app on GitHuband provide access to the repos that you want to export issues from.

Importing issues using labels

One way to import issues into Drum from GitHub is to use labels. Simply add a pre-defined label onto your issue when creating it or add the label at any point after the issue is created and Drum will detect it. You can also configure which labels Drum will look for so you can choose the default "drum" label or use your own identifier.

Importing issues using mentions

You can also import issues into Drum from GitHub by mentioning @drum in the issue description. Once the comment is added, Drum will detect the mention and import the issue.

Note: To import the issue using a mention, the comment must start with @drum. It will not work if the comment starts with anything else.
